Website Creation Workshop at the Technical High School in Paquera

A few months ago, our Peace Corps volunteer, Amanda Guti, held a very special workshop with the students of the Technical High School of Paquera. Using our own webpage visitpaquera.com as an example, Amanda guided the students through the process of designing and structuring a website from scratch.

The goal is not for the websites they create to become real businesses or be published online, but rather for the students to work on them as if they were authentic projects—applying their knowledge and creativity as though they were building an actual website.

These projects will soon be presented at the Expo Técnica, an event where students from different schools showcase the initiatives they have been working on throughout the year.

The experience and knowledge Amanda has shared have been of great value both for our organization and for the students of the school. We are grateful for her contribution and confident that this experience will provide the students with new tools for their academic and professional future.
